Location for venue was excellent. Hotel staff friendly enough.

Didn't spend a lot of time at hotel but was nice with friendly staff, nice room and very comfy bed and pillows. Just couldn't get them lifts to work.

Liked: Very quiet bedroom. Good a/c and double glazing.
Disliked: When paying nearly £300 a night I expect the level of services available to be better. No phones in room and not much desk space. No breakfast incl and only one member of staff on duty most of the time.

Liked: The common area was bright and buzzy.
Disliked: The location was very poor as it was remote from anywhere with a buzz and was about 30 minute walk from Glasgow Central Station. Staff were not proactive with service - those at the front desk (situated at a computer on the end of the bar) seemed engrossed in dealing with the computer. No television anywhere to show The Open which is a huge annual golfing event that requires Sjy TV Sport and, in the main area, only a ‘media wall’ where people could take photos, upload to Instagram on Moxy and have it shown on the wall.
