Moxy Glasgow SEC

The hotel was ideal for our stay and about a 5 min walk to the SEC , it was very comfortable and friendly. The buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choices

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly; the room was excellent and the hotel is in an ideal location for the SEC.
Disliked: Nothing was bad; breakfast was varied and plentiful; the only slight annoyance was having to use your room card key to operate the lift. It took a bit of getting used to.

Location for venue was excellent. Hotel staff friendly enough.

Disliked: Lack of food.

Didn't spend a lot of time at hotel but was nice with friendly staff, nice room and very comfy bed and pillows. Just couldn't get them lifts to work.

Hotel needs attention and better...

Liked: Room was clean.
Disliked: Main reception seating area (where you’re expected to eat breakfast) needs attention and a deep clean. Given it’s where you have to eat they need to provide more standard height seating and normal chairs. Quirky is good but not for eating breakfast at. Orange juice was awful, basically water. Hot food was dry and just passable. Shower pressure was not great at all.

Liked: Very good variety at breakfast with lots of options. Room was good with all the necessary facilities.
Disliked: It would have been helpful to have been told how breakfast operated, is not just it was self service. We did not know the bar was the eating area. The breakfast options were spread out and sometimes difficult to see what was available. On the second day, there were no plates or cutlery as they had run out and not been replenished.
