The rooms are a Moxy...

Liked: The rooms in a Moxy are always an experience in itself. Walking in is like an unexpected treat. The property was clean, hallways, the room and service areas. No dust or insects.
Disliked: The staff were odd sometimes, they seemed to casual for what I'm used to with Marriott. Always chit-chatting amongst themselves in front of guests. I also didn't like there were minor problems, my wifi didn't work, and the TV thankfully I wasn't in the room a lot but I often had to go to the lobby to get work done. I detest the food, YUCK! Everything tasted microwaved. Even when I ate nothing on my plate, no one noticed. I also didn't know why I was placed at the furthest end of the hallway when the property wasn't full. I just hope that was an upgrade.

Liked: The pool was nice, as was the lobby and staff.
Disliked: The room I was first put in smelled musty and like mildew. I was moved to a new room which was better. But when I went to the front desk someone either snuck in my room behind me or just grabbed my tequila seltzers off the cart that had my bags. I was moved to a new room and noticed it was missing. I double checked my car and the old room and had a staff check with me as well. He did give me a few seltzers to replace some of them but we never looked at the cameras and that kind of bothered me since I know someone took them (I think it was another hotel guest). But the staff tried to make up for it. I stayed here years ago and just remember it being more comfortable at that time.

Liked: The staff was pleasant. There is a bar and goodies in the lobby.
Disliked: Our room smelled like a sewer. We didn't change it because we got in late and we're tight on time. But it was gross. This is an old hotel that someone tried to update but it's a bit like putting lipstick on a pig. It still felt old and tired and once you leave the lobby, it does not hold water. They say they provide toiletries but all we had was conditioner and a shampoo soap combo in the shower. 2 towel sets. Pillows were not good.

Fun and Convenient

Liked: The atmosphere is fun! The guest rooms are great! I have stayed there before. Everyone is very nice, friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient, because my son was graduating from ASU and lots of amenities close by. Totally would recommend!
Disliked: Paige and Ammir(? sp) were super nice an accommodating, but they definitely need more help. The Moxy is a great place but what would make it even better if the evening crew had more help. It was hard for me to see them work so hard and try to keep a smile on their face. I also feel they need more menu choices for dinner. I ordered postmates because lack of choices. Will I stay there again? Yes
