Superb

Liked: Superb staff. Extremely friendly. They really try hard to make you feel welcome. 10 out of10. The location is excellent. Loved the vibe round the bar.

great value for money

Liked: the staff was very friendly, complementary welcoming drinks were a sweet touch, also the free coffee machine, absolutely loved the common area and the room too. overall a pleasant stay and would recommend - well worth the money
Disliked: lack of closet and limited storage space

Liked: Exceptional staff who made our staff very pleasant. They were very welcoming and were always keen to have a chat and provide advice about various possible attractions.
Disliked: There was no fridge or safe in the room.

Liked: The staff are incredible. The hotel is super clean. Lots of games to play. Great clientele.Came home and recommended to my son and his friends. Excellent hotel. I asked for a French Martini which the Batman looked up to make for me… the next day they had this as the cocktail of the week!!! I was so impressed and happy. Photo below of the sign that Eva did… clever artist.Go and have a cocktail everyone!!!

Exceptional

Business stay at the Moxy...

Liked: The room was adequate for business travel. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, ranging from cold meats, to hot food, to pastries - the cooked breakfast selection was limited but I found it tasty and fulfilling. The location is great - 200m from the station!
Disliked: There is nothing I did not like.

Good location, clean, but expensive...

Liked: Location excellent for Holzmark, room was clean and quiet
Disliked: Wardrobe was just a short pole on the wall, no draw and not enough hanging space. Mains socket too far from a mirror-has the designer never used a hairdryer before? No phone in the room. Food was very mediocre, the hot food specifically. Pancakes were cold, like they had been refrigerated overnight. Staff were nice, but seem rather timid. Their employer should treat them with more kindness. No offerings for lunch or dinner makes this technically a bed and breakfast, not a hotel. This is not what one expects for the star rating and cost. I have spent about a total of 4 years of my life staying on a hotel, and I have paid less money and had a much better room, food and services on offer. Marriot has the money, i wish they would play the game of delivering the lest they can and still make some money. The TV with 2000s hipster pictures and sentiments is the corporate equivalent of a politician trying to use slang to get the youth vote.
