Very good

Liked: New clean and modern room. The bathroom was very nice. Very easy to cast onto the TV. Also loved the chocolate hour in the lobby.
Disliked: We got two pillows each, one was very hard and stiff, one was very soft, both were uncomfortable. But the bed was good. Coffee and tea were not replenished daily, which was annoying as I thought it would be standard practice to do so. Reception did not apologise for this, but claimed that it's not usually replenished unless requested... It might be a petty complaint, but the staff interaction just put a sour twist into an otherwise pleasant stay.

Liked: Room service was inconsistent. Has to request for shower gel to be replenished as botttle empty two days in a row indicating housekeeping doesn’t check daily. New shower cap had to be requested. One particular day we found a pillow slip on the ground, only one clean towel in the bathroom and one of the two bathrobes had been taken.

Liked: The location was great for us. We got the train from Ballarat so it was very easy to get to from Southern Cross station.
Disliked: There was no milk in our room for our tea & coffee. The large heavy circular table in our room blocked the use of the lounge seat.

Superb

Liked: Ease of check in. Arrived in time for Chocolate hour, unknown to us. Security aspect great. 2 women,caged 67 and 74 travelling together knowing no one could wander in off the street
Disliked: Surprised at cost of 2 glasses of wine at 39 dollars.
