Exceptional

Liked: The room was lovely, the location was close to everything in the CBD. The restaurant was very nice. We don't normally eat at hotel restaurants preferring local eateries. There was nothing to complain about here.
Disliked: No complaints at all. The parking is a little expensive in this, and all downtown hotels. If you are prepared to park a short way from the hotel you can save a reasonable amount - especially if you have a parking app.

Liked: We got an early check in which was amazing thank-you. Breakfast first day amazing, second day food was running out. Missed the chocolate hr which was our issue but would be nice offering if anyone missing out got some choc in the nedrolm. It is a Movenpick hotel afterall.

Very good - we will...

Liked: The situation is just right for moving about the CBD and beyond. The major positive would be the staff who went out of their way to help when an emergency situation arose.
Disliked: The room, while comfortable , lacked storage place for items like shirts , sweaters and underwear. These ended up on window ledges and tables.

Disliked: Pretty basic, the buffet breakfast was average.

Liked: Very comfy bed and nice pillows
Disliked: The rooms are not sound proof, was very noisy with people talking in the hallways and noise from the street.

A clean and comfortable room....

Liked: Well situated in downtown Auckland. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: A lot of street noise throughout the night. Is the room double glazed as even our New York hotel room wasn’t that noisy?Only one poor staff member on the front desk on Sunday morning, with everyone wanting to check out at 11am and needing their cars which are parked off site! Sadly she did have to experience a lot of rude behaviour from some guests.
