Liked: Movenpick did not disappoint. Perfect location, top quality products in the bathroom. Clean. Coffee perfect touch. Had the best staff and will recommend to friends and family. Complimentary sweet treat between 3-4pm such a great touch. Perfect weekend in Auckland
Disliked: The only confusing thing was knock on door on arrival to ask if we had or will use mini bar.

Liked: Location was perfect and the chocolate hour was fun! Check in staff were very kind!
Disliked: Elevators took us and many others that were in the same all over the show went passed our floor a few times and took us to the top when it said it was going down

Great location and comfy beds...

Liked: The beds were comfy and the view was nice. Chocolate hour is a cool addition and the kids enjoyed their free ice cream. The location is excellent. The valet car service was quick.
Disliked: Our room hadn't been cleaned by 4pm and reception were surprised when we contacted them to let them know. They quickly got it serviced but it would have been nice if they offered us a drink in the bar while the room was serviced for 20 minutes. I also don't think the view is worth paying extra for as the building isn't tall enough to get a truly stunning sea view like some of the other hotels in the area. So save your money and hope for a decent view anyway (which we did previously and it was an equal view with no additional cost). The room also had very limited storage -a wardrobe only and no drawers. There was plenty of space for suitcases but we like to unpack and this wasn't possible.

Liked: Excellent location to be able to walk, experience and explore central Auckland without having to spend money on transportation. The chocolate hour was a bonus.
