Mouratoglou Hotel & Resort (ex Beachcomber French Riviera)

Definitely positive

Liked: The location of the resort was perfect with the beautiful surroundings.
Disliked: Most of the Staff didnt speak or understand any other language than french even at the front desk. The cleaning staff was at times inpolite even with the do not disturb sign on. This is something you can hardly accept in such a place. At the restaurant they were a lot of occassions late and did not bring exactly what we ordered however the food was delicious.For such a high price at least the breakfast should have been included

Not great for leisure unless...

Liked: Big, spacious room, comfortable beds and good quality bedding. Strong air-con perfect for hot weather. Reception and restaurant staff were lovely and very attentive. The pool was warm, and there were plenty of sun beds. The food in the restaurant for dinner was good and reasonably priced.
Disliked: Restaurant closes at 2pm and there is nothing to eat until 7pm, not even room service. We wanted to have lunch before check in (as it was not until 4pm) but there was nothing available and not even shop nearby. We were misled as the hotel is advertised as resort but it is very much just a hotel attached to a tennis academy which is the main purpose of most visitors but it was not ours.
