Decent room, miserable staff

Liked: The bed was very comfy
Disliked: The check in process was extremely slow, the man at reception could of been more cheerful .

Exceptional

Liked: Very clean and comfy. We requested a champagne package for our wedding evening which was fantastic. Will stay again!

Luxury look but far from...

Disliked: The look of luxury without the luxury. No power sockets next to the bed so you can't charge your phone easily. The kettle doesn't have a socket next to it so you have to take it to the only socket on the desk to plug it in. This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel and there aren't enough sockets or coffee machine? The carpet is very warn also.

Could be lovely but isn’t.

Liked: Room was nice bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Nobody to check me in for 15 mins, when on a tight turnaround for a pre booked uber for a wedding not very good. Breakfast was bang average, pretty low grade sausages, like a poor premier inn breakfast, plasticy fried eggs, tinned mushrooms, not good bacon and cheap tired tomato’s. Fruit salad was melons in syrup. Nobody to pay on check out, for £11.95 an utter rip off. This hotel could be so nice but seems like they don’t really care.

Liked: Amble parking outside including electric charging stations:
Disliked: Visited with my husband, as we were attending a wedding nearby. Relatively hostile checking in experience, receptionist reluctantly provided information on late check out, but the info she gave contradicted the information supplied in the room? Our room was situated next to the lifts. Lots of people coming & leaving throughout the night.. Bed was very uncomfortable, super thin mattress, awful nights sleep. Blinds let the light through, so woken up by the sun. Room was dated, tired & general needed some maintenance and a deep clean.Hotel is gorgeous from the outside, but standards in the inside are low, budget friendly yes, but not worth it for such a poor night sleep.No opportunity on check out to leave any sort of feedback.
