Excellent Hotel

Liked: Upgrade to main building with underground parking. Very spacious 2 bedroom condo suite.
Disliked: Long hall walk to suite.

One night stay wasn't long...

Liked: The location was great. The Jackson Gore Resort is beautiful! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

Bad

Liked: Nothing there didn't have proper check in directions had to go to another resort to check in

Disliked: At the counter during registration, hotel ask me to pay extra fee for resort , but when booking at booking.com there is no such fee. I rejected the request. It's unacceptable to ask for unstated fee. And the address is wrong, when I get the address from booking.com. They told me to another place 'Jackson gore' , what's wrong with this provider?

Liked: Drove 4 hours to find out there was no front desk to check in waited out side for 2and a half hours in the cold before bookings told me they could not get a hold of the owner and would I like a refund!!!

Liked: Nice room! Like a small apartment with your own balcony.
Disliked: Check in was a mess! If booking on Booking. Com, know that you have to check in to Jackson Gore Inn which is about 1.5 miles from the address given. And make sure to ask them for the door code to enter the building which they didn't give us when checking in and seemed confused about when I called to ask for it once we got to the building. And parking is a ways away from the building having to carry your luggage up flights of stairs as we didn't see any elevators.. :(

confusing, expensive and outdated

Disliked: it’s extremely confusing to find the property. The lobby (where you get your keys) is located 15 minute drive from where the property is. there are no signs and no one told us about it, so we were driving in circles for 30 minutes until a security guard stopped us and told us where to go. then the staff at the lobby gave us the wrong address and we had to call security to come get us. Basically it took over an hour to get to the room. The rooms are very outdated, the building is smelly. It’s right on the mountain so during winter its great. But off season i found it to be very expensive, confusing and not very nice

Liked: The breakfast was very good the location was very good the whole weekend was great I went with my brother we've been going to VT for the last 8yrs and want to go back again next year and stay at the Mountain Lodge a Ludlow it was excellent!
