Relaxing with delicious home-baked mufifns!

Disliked: The pictures on line are 100% deceiving, false advertising; they have been taken from very far away only showing the building where the owners live. The area where the guest rooms is located is a complete different picture.This property is not an Inn, but an outdated old road motel from the 60’s, 70’s which has not been updated at all in a good 30 years based on the furniture, rugs, bedding, bathroom and common areas.The motel rooms are off the road and you can constantly hear the noise of the cars passing by which really interfered with our sleep.When you walk in the room there is a very distinctive musty smell. The wall paint and bathroom door paint is chipped. The ceiling has three very large stains from a previous leak that justifies the moldy smell you notice when you walk in.The tub was brownish and clearly moldy, this area had been covered with white paint visible not working to cover it.These last two items along are serious healthy hazards, particularly for someone with serious allergies like my husband who developed a stuffy and runny nose over this that lasted most of the day today.In terms of the common areas, the porch floor is covered with black rugs that are very old and ripped, the paint on the porche’s columns is all peeling, there is not enough lighting at night to be safe walking up to the porch.There is definitely something very suspicious about their positive reviews online and who writes them, issue worth investigating.We never chose to stay in a motel, had we known that, we would have never booked it.When we booked it from the booking website we thought the $223.00 rate including breakfast was reasonable for a night in a nice Inn; this property had nothing to do with an Inn, itdidn’t even offer breakfast but a paper bag with a muffin and a piece of cake. This is an absolute insult for this the rate we paid.This place is not even worth half of what we paid.We are in shock that Booking offers this type of accommodations.
