Liked: You can't beat this place for the price in this location. Walkable to center city, the market, the symphony hall, Chinatown, art museums, and even south street and the historical attractions if you're ok with logging a couple miles. The shower is excellent, beds adequate, and the staff are top notch.

Great location but smaller rooms

Liked: Great location in the city centre. I liked the coffee downstairs and the gym facilities are pretty good. It’s a clean place and staff are nice. Bed was comfortable and the rooms have large windows.
Disliked: This was the second time I’ve stayed and I do love the location hence booking again. But I do find it slightly overpriced for what it is. Rooms are quite basic and small. I also was quite frustrated by how loud the air con and fridge were in my room. There is a restaurant that is generally very busy and shares the lobby so it gets a bit busy coming in and out.

Don’t have your staff walk...

Disliked: Last day there a random staff member was knocking on my door early in the morning yelling that he had to look at something in my room. I had the do not disturb sign on the door handle. I answered the door asking what he was doing, he said “sorry” and left. About an hour and a half later, housekeeping was banging on my door after I fell back asleep again, also totally ignoring the do not disturb sign. This was about an hour and a half before check out. Then the housekeeping staff just walked in my room. Totally unexpected and unnecessary. Have never seen staff force themselves into people’s rooms while they’re trying to sleep on their last day at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I was there for 5 days. Unacceptable and dangerous for your staff members to barge into stranger’s rooms like that.

Comfortable, exceptional price

Liked: Room was laid out nicely. Very comfortable. The a/c was extremely loud and would wake my husband up every time it turned on
Disliked: Sheets and cover were tucked in so tightly on the bottom we could not pull the covers up to cover our bodies

This was my second stay...

Liked: Loved the location and parking availability - also loved having a coffee shop in the lobby for my early morning departure.
Disliked: The HVAC was really loud when it kicked in, and the bed could have been more comfortable.
