Modern, clean hotel in a...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location, just away from the hustle and bustle of the time square area but close enough that we walked but there's also good access to public transport. We stayed in a family room with 4 twin beds and this as perfect for our family of two adults and two teenaged children. It was great to be able to climb into our quiet space each evening and have a little bit of relative privacy. Although the room was small, the space was well thought out with enough storage so that we weren't tripping over our belongings- which as a family of 4 staying for a week were plentiful.
Disliked: There was often a wait for the elevators at busy times as there were only 4 elevators for the whole hotel, but this wasn't a huge problem. Similarly, the reception desk tended to be busy, so it would have been good to have more staff on the reception, but the staff were helpful and friendly even though they were busy.

Liked: The hotel is amazing – the landmark view is totally worth it, the staff were kind and efficient, and everything was spotless
Disliked: The only downside was that we couldn’t fully open the curtains, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Disliked: Staff weren’t overly helpful. We had to ask for an extra towel every night. On our last night, they didn’t even bring one up.

Disliked: When we arrived at 3am because our flight was at night the guy at reception was rude and double charged my cc, he said he would fix it but didn’t thank goodness the manager the next day was helpful and fixed the mistake and was able to see my funds returned. It would have been helpful if the hotel was more clear on things like:- you need to call the front desk every day for your room to be cleaned, I travel all the time and this is not the norm in other countries including same hotel chain in other locations - the hotel can book your transportation to the airport. on the last day another manager was super nice to do because we had an incident and we missed the shuttle we had purchased separately in a kiosk located at the hotel which is third party, but if we knew since the beginning this could be done through the hotel we would have done it.- I know nyc rooms are small but they could do with one or two shelves for clothes, we had to keep opening and closing our suitcases. - you can hear everything from the bathroom to the room; no privacy
