Comfortable stay

Liked: Large room. Kitchenette a plus. In room coffee. Good wi-fi. Great towels.

I wouldsstay there again because...

Liked: ready for me to enter. Cool and relatively clean. Desk clerk very friendly and nice. Quiet. No bums around.
Disliked: light bulbs in lamp dusty. Under plasic bag put in the waste basket dirty. Waste basket itself should have been cleaned before putting a new plastic bag in.

Overall, out stay was great....

Liked: Wonderful rooms. We had two rooms. Both were nicely decorated and the linens and beds were very comfortable. Tons of parking. Close to everything.
Disliked: I don’t like being charged for the room before checking in. I have never had a hotel try to do that before. Booking.com stated “pay at the property. I felt harassed by them, since my bank declined the second charge as fraud, after the phone call from the property saying I had to pay now. We had a 6 hour drive to get there.Also, we ran out of toilet paper during the night and in the morning we called the desk to get a roll. They said we needed to come to the office to get it. We insisted they bring one and they relented and delivered it.

We were pleasantly suprised.

Liked: While dated, the room was clean and cheerfully decorated. We had a problem with the TV, asked for help. Patricia came and did what she could. We left for dinner and then the event that we came for. When we returned to the room, the TV had been replaced with one that worked. The room was spacious, except for the bathroom, and cheerfully decorated.
Disliked: The stair treads were made of a metal grating that was the same material that I chewed up my knee on when I was a kid. It gave me apprehension every time I descended them. That's on me.
