Welcome and Staff Language ProficiencyUpon arrival, the initial positive impression of the hotel lobby was tempered by the perceived quality of the reception service. It is regrettable to note a lack of staff perfectly fluent in English and French, especially in an establishment that welcomes international clientele. Communication is the cornerstone of the customer experience, and the inability to communicate effectively in key languages can generate frustration and misunderstanding from the very beginning of the stay. According to international hotel standards, a multilingual team is essential to ensure an inclusive and quality welcome.2. Design and Functionality of Common Areas (Breakfast)The setup of the lobby and bar area for breakfast service raises serious questions of design and functionality. Transforming a bar lounge into a breakfast room, particularly with furniture predominantly consisting of low tables, creates an uncomfortable and poorly ergonomic environment for guests. The analogy to a "boarding hall" is telling and suggests a lack of privacy and conviviality. For a hotel of the indicated size (approximately 400 rooms spread over ten floors), a dedicated and appropriate breakfast room is imperative to manage guest flow and offer a pleasant experience. This type of configuration can significantly impact customer satisfaction and goes against the expectations of comfort and practicality generally associated with a hotel, even of intermediate category.3.
