Convenient, Clean, and Comfortable

Liked: Very central location and the room/bed was very comfortable. We were also happy with the cleanliness. Was exactly what we were looking for a one-night stay!
Disliked: The rooms and bathroom are very simple, and somewhat small. We also found the breakfast to be a bit lacking and not often restocked as new guests came in.

Liked: City centre hotel, easy to find within walking distance of the railway station. About 30-40 minutes by train from Düsseldorf Airport and 10 minutes on the U-Bahn to Messe Essen. Motel One quality as expected, so no surprises!
Disliked: Room was really hot and stuffy when I arrived, as the power is off to the rooms when you are not there so the air conditioning is not running. Windows do not stay open either. Took a good hour before it was comfortable.
