Fabulous!

Liked: The location is perfect, so close to everything and very easy to get around. Loved the lounge area and great healthy breakfast each morning. Our room was so spacious and comfortable.

Great location and beauty property

Liked: Beautiful property, modern upgrades, felt very fancy. Room was smaller, but it was only myself. Beautifully decorated and centrally located in old town, its was so easy to walk everywhere from here!
Disliked: It was definitely expensive, higher end hotel. I was willing to pay the price for the luxury of being so close to everything though

Lovely stay, shame about the...

Liked: Location was excellent and staff were nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Quiet and peaceful in room. Like the quirky/comfy design of the hotel.
Disliked: Very basic room, no little extras ie bottled water/coffee machine/soaps/shower cap etc which is what would be expected for the price we paid. Although the hotel appears to be an eco friendly type, there are eco/recyclable options for the above suggested items.

Great time and I would...

Liked: It is all about the location - walk to most things (Edinburgh has a lot of hills). Hotel is clean, well maintained, breakfast was very good.
Disliked: I've noticed that most hotel rooms in Europe are small. Motel One was no different. Not a big deal if you are only using the room for sleep. Which is what we typically do.

Very good

Liked: The location is perfect and the breakfast was also very good. The room was big enough and great value for money
Disliked: The only thing needing improvement is the bathroom. There's no windows or fans in it so once you've showered, the steam stays inside for the whole day. It's impossible to air the bathroom
