Good

Liked: The location and staff are great.
Disliked: The hotel is not well maintained. The carpet looks dirty. The shower was not working fine.

Liked: The location was situated close to the areas of Edinburgh that we were interested in.
Disliked: Rooms were not worth the money and were small and simple but fortunately we didn't spent much time in the room, The bed was comfortable tho.

Liked: The location was great! Within walking distance to everything and was so easy to get to the train, tram and hop on hop off bus.
Disliked: We were aware they were doing some upgrades and were notified of the noise. The passages and breakfast area were looking a bit tired.

Superb

Liked: The location on Princes Street was perfect. Just behind Waverley Station. A very short walk from hop on, hop off bus. Very nice breakfast with a view up to Edinburgh Castle. Good evening meal at pub a few steps away.
Disliked: Hotel currently undergoing renovation. Our room was along corridor from worksite office but hotel staff were extremely understanding and this didn't pose a problem.

Liked: Staff were wonderful, hotel was in a great location, refurbishment in progress so a little disruption.
Disliked: Noise from cans and bottles being emptied outside
