Liked: The location is good for the granby zoo it's a 10 minute drive.
Disliked: Staff are rude, they charge you at the motel $150 for damages which is not listed on booking at all, when you try to talk the woman speaks over you and just laughs in your face when you try to say they need to add it to their website. The younger man working the front desk told me the reason for the 150 damage deposit is cause they had people do needles (drugs) in their rooms before and caused damages, which was highly inappropriate for them to say in front of my children. My 4 yr was then worried that we had to get needles to stay at the motel. Upon getting in the room I noticed it wasn't very clean there was stains on the sheets of one of the beds couldnt tell if it was blood or ketchup, mirrors have water stains from previous guests, there was lots of dust above the bed and on the lamps, walls have spots where they have been repaired or something but never painted over, fridge wasn't wiped well, back door has no handle, the dresser has some kind of stains down the front, and on top of that i found bugs crawling on the nightstand, after complaining to booking.com about my experience the motel called me and got very rude and told us we could leave cause they take bugs very seriously and they care about their reviews. They repeatedly asked when I was coming back so they can look for themselves when I returned I tried to speak to them about the issues they were yelling at me the older man told me to shut up because I said I was speaking to his wife, clearly they aren't married after being verbally attacked by him. I asked them just to give me new sheets so my children could just go to bed as it was after 9 pm.The cleaner herself because they claim to have 24 hour cleaners said she would get me a sheet but wouldn't be putting it on and that I could do it myself, can you imagine. The woman then told her you do it with me, and they finally changed it after other guests started complaining that us arguing over the state of the room was bothering them.
