Motel 88

Liked: We found the motel to be clean and well cared for. It included some amenities such as soap and shampoo samples, a hair dryer, clock/radio, small fridge and microwave, and of course a nice TV. I asked about coffee and it was provided. The bed was very comfortable and adequate lighting for reading. We were pleased with our one-night stay at this motel.
Disliked: None that I can think of.

Dated motel with 70s decor...

Liked: Front desk lady was great. Very personable.
Disliked: Very dated motel, room was from the 70s, bed was okay, lots of carpenter bees along the eves and. Room had a musty smell to it.

I did not feel safe....

Liked: No breakfast it was room only. A motel.
Disliked: I did not feel safe. door had wooden repairs by the handle. wallpaper peeling off the wallls. Bathtub had peeling paint. gold heavy brocade curtain that was old was what offered privacy at window. Room was dark and depressing. I did not stay. I checked out the same day and stayed with friends in the area. I know I am liable forr the night of the 6th, bus as I checked out (AND emailed booking.com) I am hoping for a refund for the night of the 7th. Local people were shocked that Motell 88 ws on booking.com. I was also very surprised, as previous use of Booking. come has been stisfactory.
