Liked: I recently stayed at the Motel 6 in Champaign, and overall, it was a good experience. The stay was comfortable and met my expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were convenient. However, the shower water was a bit colder than expected, which was a minor downside.Despite this, my time at Motel 6 was pleasant, and I appreciated the hospitality during my stay.

Liked: The cost for last minute Friday night booking was excellent The hotel was clean the staff pleasant and accommodating Tanya was very.kind and wished me good luck on my race.and asked how I did. The room smelled great and was clean and no order. Our hotel was quiet.
Disliked: Walking in to the hotel there was a.musty smokey.smell. They are in the process of going non smoking. The shower hot water took a good 10 minutes to get hot. The fridge was very loud.

Liked: The room is large and it was clean. Mattress too soft.
Disliked: The refrigerator and microwave did not work. Neither were plugged in when I arrived. Soon I realized the refrigerator did not work after plugging it in. It had an odor when opened, like syrup. I thought the microwave worked but the following morning upon heating water, there was a plume of smoke and a horrible electric plastic smell. Fortunately, I was able to open the window in the room and no smoke alarms went off. I called the front desk to let them know and was told someone would come up. I could not make any coffee. Also the smoke permeated everything, my clothes and clothes bags, plastic, etc. The refrigerator and microwave looked old, were one piece. It should not have been in the room.

Liked: Amazing! Staff is as friendly as can be, reasonable prices, comfortable bed, nice room. 10/10. Would def come back
