Liked: I was very grateful that rooms were available in Stephenville for the block of time when they were needed (the solar eclipse). Obviously, the location was very convenient for my family and me (all adults). The staff was very friendly and courteous.
Disliked: I remembered when the hotel first opened as a Ramada Inn decades ago. It has since changed brands (downgrades, IMO) and has undergone refurbishment a number of times, and now well past due for another round of updating. It's definitely showing its age.

Not sure I will stay...

Liked: The room was clean but very old. There was no buffering between rooms. Easy check in
Disliked: You could hear every room above and beside you. Every foot step made, every facet turned on, every door opened. The first morning there was something wrong with the door next door and they will banging on it, and before 9 AM. Also, we had a call that my mother had past away so I went to the office at 1:00 to let them know we were leaving and they said that we couldn't get a refund be cause it was after noon. It wasn't like they had already cleaned our room Also, we turned the A/C-Heater from them A/C to the heater and it shut off not to start again.

Good hotel if you travel...

Liked: Dog friendly and no dog fee. Room was decent.
Disliked: Floor was not very clean.

Overall it was good.

Liked: It was a great value.
Disliked: Hazards not marked in the parking lot. Big dip/hole in the front of property that is not easily seen when driving and the parking cement stops in front of my room was not staked in the ground so my truck caught on the rebar sticking up and dragged the concrete stop as I backed up.
