Motel 6-Norfolk VA

Checked in before a concert. When I returned, my door card did not work. I went back to the front desk 4 times for it to work. When my room door finally opened there was a strange "spill" in the entrance. Almost like if you struggled at the door someone will approach you from behind and you would lose your footing on the "spill". There were various deals openly happening in the parking lot and there was a huge roach trying to get into my room. I did not stay and left as soon as I was able to get my stuff. I also got charged for an extra night when I didn't even stay at all. The worst experience I've had.

Disliked: Shady activities.

15 minute drive to the venue; very friendly and helpful ladies at the front desk - one even took the time to write out directions for me! Room was just basic; clean; no bells and whistles, which we don't care about anyway. We would definitely stay here again!

Liked: One of the rooms I had 102 was a very nice room..
Disliked: The staff was very rude accept the African American laundy lady &:the night clerk with the beard....all the other staff were very aggressive on how they talk to you ..very rude ...you can say good morning and they won't say it back, sheet had stains...box spring really nasty, walls dirty...ring around bathroom, people may knock on your door cause guests before you were most likely selling drugs outta the room....few roaches Internet horrible...t.v wires & cable wires hanging everywhere.,... Staff banging on door around 10:30 to see if your checking out cause phones in room don't work....lotta drug&: prostitution... homeless people lingering around...not safe and worth the money...wash rags & towels are never clean or white and normal has someone else hair embedded in it...ice machine stays broken...

Liked: Ther tub has hair the floor. Was dirty the linen was sickening. Dirty mirrors blankets burned terrible
