It was bad

Liked: It was in Medford where I was traveling. It was cheap
Disliked: The room was not cleaned only my linens were changed. I cleaned the room myself and had to use a towel to hand mop the flour and the towel is what came off the floor as the WHOLE floor covered in dog hair. The sink wasn’t wiped neither was the shower there was hair and soap scum in both. I asked the staff for more towels and they were rude and told me next time to get them out of the laundry room myself and take my dirty towels there. Overall I have stayed at hundreds of hotel/motels as a veteran and this is motel was not acceptable. The only reason I didn’t demand my money back is because I had my family with me and didn’t want to deal with the rude staff again.

Disliked: Dirty hotel. Homeless people hanging around in the parking lot and many travelers by our room just left their door hanging open. There was also a strong odor of cat urine near our room and I could see cats in the window of a room nearby. We walked into our room and right back out. My kids said they didn’t feel safe staying there so I booked another hotel for the night. I asked the person at the front desk for a refund and he said he would have his supervisor call me which…..unsurprisingly, never happened and I was charged for the night despite not staying there. The pictures and descriptions online are misleading. This hotel is much worse than it looks online.
