Motel 6 Mansfield

Filthy, never again, don’t do...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Front desk, gentleman was on a personal call while I was at the desk. When he did finally end the call, he attempted to charge me again for a room that was already paid for. The grounds are decent, make it appear you’ll be comfortable. BUT the rooms. Extremely filthy. Splatters of unknown something up the wall and on the ceiling. Security latch was mounted on the Door frame and the door had clearly been kicked in tearing the frame board from the wall and punching a hole in the wall behind the door. The floors had clearly never been cleaned properly. The bathroom door opens and the toilet is immediately to the right. If someone was using it and the door would ram into their thighs. Not the knees but the thighs. The wall behind the bathroom door again had some unknown substance. Could not tell if the towels had even been washed. Sheets/pillow cases were dingy and speckled with unknown something or other. Overall, Motel 6 better not leave the light on. We could not stay, we just left.

This place could be so...

Liked: The location is just down the street from the show we do every year. We have been staying there since it was a Knights Inn. Every year it gets a little worse. The grass was actually mowed.
Disliked: We had a nonsmoking room. There were at least 15cigarette burns in the bedspread on both beds and an ash tray on the table. The room that we were in the front door stuck so bac d it took 2 od f us to get it open. Our TV came on but had no sound. We went to the office, and she said she would let the night manager know but in 3 days no one showed up.

Not up to Motel 6...

Disliked: Floor almost caved in bathroom. Bed very uncomfortable
