Motel 6-Libertyville IL, Libertyville

We had to take the lid off the commode to flush it; the shower was cracked and dirty and we sprayed the mattress with bed bug spray because we were concerned.

Liked: Close to the venue.
Disliked: The room had a 2 inch thick layer of dust on top of most surfaces.

Liked: Staff were friendly; rooms were clean.
Disliked: Carpet in hallways dirty.

Liked: Average, no-frills hotel to crash in after a concert at the Fuel Room down the street - within walking distance. 10% off Liberty restaurant bill with your motel key.
Disliked: Poor quality beds.

I was glad I found...

Liked: The room was clean. Cats are allowed for no extra fee.
Disliked: I booked a room with a microwave but was given a room without one so I spoke with the front desk and I had to switch rooms. The room was very damp and my clothes smelled musty when I got home. Worst of all when I walked into my room on the last night it smelled VERY strongly of weed/pot smoke. It was late at night and I was leaving the next day and didn't want to deal with switching rooms at that point so just used air spray but it was bad.

Disliked: Everything..the rooms was dirty.tub hasn't been clean in months spiders in webs by tub mold and drunk people walking through halls hitting people doors all night. Fighting couples all night slamming doors all night fidge was dirty front desk brought a microwave I'm room sit it on chair all our food was sliding in the microwave. Didn't get any sleep about the worse Motel I ever stayed in.!!
