Liked: It was clean
Disliked: The AC didn't work. It stayed at about 85 degrees the whole time it was "running". I had just come from a motel 6 in Grand Junction where the AC also did not work which gave me heat exhaustion. I told this to the front desk and they would not change my room or refund me. I asked for a fan and they didn't even have that. The staff was very hostile and she clearly did not care that the room will push my heat exhaustion into heat stroke, which can be deadly. Not to mention, I had 2 Chihuahuas with me and I couldn't let them suffer in the heat either. I can't emphasize enough how much the front desk did not care about my health at all. If you look at the security footage of the conversation, you can clearly see the front desk woman being hostile. (There was a boy at the front desk too but he was fine. He just didn't have power to do anything.)The heat exhaustion ruined my trip to visit my family. My uncle just had surgery to remove cancer and my auntie has been very depressed. Now I can't help them because I wasted my money on this hotel. I did not feel like human being when they talked to me and I will probably never see that refund. So essentially I paid $100 to get heat stroke. It took 5 days for me to recover. This company does not care about it's customers. Stay away!

It met my expectations but...

Liked: It was pretty clean, beds were comfy and staff was nice.
Disliked: Lots of loitering people by our door so that was weird. AC unit wasn’t very cold.

Front desk associates are RUDE...

Liked: It’s close to my house so convenient
Disliked: I was told at check in that once the other person staying in the room arrived they would need to go to front desk and give ID. And that I was not aloud to have any guest and if I did I would be DNR and kicked out. When the second party showed up they wouldn’t accept his ID and said I had to go down to the front desk and add him which I already did at check in. And then the front desk person said that my husband had to leave and that I was going to be kicked out because I didn’t want to go to the front desk at 1:30am when I was already in bed and add him to the room. My husband ended up leaving so that I could have a place to stay and slept in his car. Very unprofessional and rude. I’ve worked in the hotel business for 15 years and never heard of any such policy that I would be kicked out for having a guest and on top of it a guest that I told the front desk about at check in and put down 2 adults on my reservation. I also had another guest which was a delivery person and I didn’t add them to the room so I will probably be DNR from the Motel 6 .

Disliked: The property as a whole needed serious updating, maintenance and in some cases, it seemed, repairs.
