Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Alge in the pool, people up all night yelling it was not good. I booked for two nights and stayed only one and booked another place to stay for the next day.

Frightening location and hair on...
Liked: The room was updated
Disliked: The people in the area were very scary, I literally kept my pepper spray in hand and made my son carry a tazor in hand when moving items into the room. There was a vehicle that sped into the property, and turned around really quick and stopped in front of our vehicle, I thought they were about to hold us up at gun point. There was a homeless woman walking around hallucinating and stood 1 ft beside me when I was checking in (from the outside window - even the property is aware how sketchy the neighborhood can be I guess). She ended up being picked up by ems. I feel it could have a lot of extra lights installed and have security present. I wanted to take a loss on the booking and find elsewhere but my son convinced me to just go ahead and stay since we were already there. Also, there was a short black curly hair on the bottom sheet of the bed, I slept on top of my personal blanket instead.

Left shaken, out double the...
Disliked: I am appalled by my experience at Motel 6 West Sacramento. After turning off the lights and then back on, I saw bedbugs crawling across the bed. Pulling back the sheets revealed a mattress soiled with what appeared to be urine, blood, or bedbug excrement. When I reported this health and safety issue, the front desk clerk not only scolded me for pulling back the sheets but also lied, claiming he couldn’t issue a refund because I booked through Booking.com—even though I selected “Pay at property.” He was initially prepared to refund a day and a half until the general manager, who was out of the country, said, and I quote, “Don’t give her a penny back.” They offered pest control but couldn’t say when they'd arrive, had no other rooms available, and took no responsibility for the situation. I had no choice but to book another hotel for the same number of nights, paying out of pocket again. The management clearly prioritized profit over guest health and safety. I’m still waiting to hear back from Booking.com about my refund. This experience was completely unacceptable. And let’s not forget the green pool—complete with algae the front desk casually admitted they just can’t seem to get rid of.
