Motel 6 should really start...

Liked: 1) The young lady at the front desk was nice and helpful.2) The housekeeping ladies were very nice as well.
Disliked: 1) Horrible air conditioner. The central air conditioner was absolutely horrible as it barely blew any air and it was definitely not cool air. It's Summer here in Portland, Oregon and this night was very warm and humid which meant the room was warm and muggy due to a poor A/C leading to a most uncomfortable nights sleep.2) Getting the TV to work properly was a challenge that wasn't successful.3) The room with decently clean but very old.4) The guests next door and above me were loud ALL NIGHT with their obnoxious talking and their ghetto babies never slept.

Love this area, have stayed...

Liked: Having learned the difference in rooms and pricing , a week before, I upgraded this one to deluxe in order to have the frig and micro. I consider these amenities essential. The room is also larger.
Disliked: Duly noted that there is no hair dryer... standard in motels for many years now, this could be an issue.... No one travels with a hair dryer anymore. Only soap and towels provided, no lotion or shampoo. Would like a coffee maker in the room. Walking all the way to the office for coffee is a negative for me... I want to wake up with coffee in hand.
