Motel 6-Saukville WI

Exceptional

Liked: The location is close to groceries store, restaurant etc. Very convenient, and yet, only 30 minutes to drive to Milwaukee.

We were only there one...

Liked: There was nothing good about this property.
Disliked: The motel needs a lot of maintenance improvements. The window in our room was rotated and didn’t close properly. The shower was nasty. The whole facility smelled bad. The front desk was not friendly.

Zero customer service

Disliked: My credit card declined the charge as they thought it was a fraud charge and they gave our room away within 20min of this happening!

You get what you pay...

Liked: Staff was nice
Disliked: Very old building. Have to take out own trash and hand in a towel to get a new one .

Uncomfortable

Disliked: Hotel was over booked, they had to separate my family into two rooms, that were not joining rooms. Then the fire alarm in one room went off at 7 am and when called they did not send anyone to come fix it, but instead said they would have to kick us out of that room because someone else needed it. They made us move to a different room, my family could all be together so that part was nice, but the rest was unprofessional. When talking to the staff they were not apologetic nor were they friendly. We did not get a smile or a hello out of any staff besides housekeeping as we walked by on our way to check out. On our second morning we were woken up by housekeeping at 8:30, we have 2 young children who were tired and were woken abruptly bc of them. The cleanliness of the hotel overall was poor, there are some updates that are very much needed.

Liked: Spacious and clean rooms

Liked: The bed was comfortable and we needed a place to sleep.
Disliked: Burn hole in bedspread, surfaces were dirty, floor was dirty, toilet seat was loose, no ice in ice machine-it did get fixed, no decaf coffee and the staff said "you can just drink the regular coffee". "I replied actually I can't". Disappointed for the price.
