Motel 6-Sandston VA - Richmond Va

Staff is extremely friendly and enjoyed talking with a few of them. Overall a good place to stay for a night or two. I wouldn't recommend it for a long period of time. A few things were wrong in both of the rooms I booked but I didn't file a complaint because I was only staying for one night. However I do feel that a thorough inspection should be done before they allow someone to enter a room. One room had no hot running water. The other didn't have anything but the sheets on the bed. No blanket. And even with the A/C completely off it was extremely cold on a night where it was 80 degrees outside. The rooms are overall pretty clean and well maintained. It seems like a safe environment and a place where I didn't have to worry about anything crazy happening.

Liked: I liked that the property was around a lot of store and in a good area where we can get food and don’t have to travel far
Disliked: We asked for extra covers and didn’t get them until the next day and the rooms had bugs in them didn’t like that and we wasn’t able to get in the pool and that’s why we booked the hotel

Liked: I booked to there by mistake and when I got there, I saw how dirty, unsafe was there. I canceled it immediately and went to another hotel. I contacted them by text to cancel but nobody answered. I called 2x and they said they would cancel within no fee but I am still receiving these emails asking how was there . Hopefully I won’t be charged.
Disliked: Dirty, not safe at all. Weird people around.

Disliked: I was single female, and I was put in the back of the hotel the next-door neighbor stayed up all night. Couple fighting loud noise really frightening I did not sleep not one hour. It was so disturbing and scary.

The worst experience ever

Disliked: I asked for an ADA room and called the day before to make sure I was getting one and at check in they gave it away. The room was way to small for 3 people. I couldn't take a shower be cause I had no shower chair. The TV was blue tinted and had a line running through it. The iron we received leaked all over the floor. The beds were like sleeping on a board. Noisy as hell. People letting their kids scream and hollar people talking really loud music loud people smoking pot outside the room which made it smell. No coffee maker in the room either.

Good stay

Liked: Got all u need. 4 gas stations nearby. Airport right around the corner.Bed comfortable, no breakfast but hot coffe in the morning, staff friendly, no shampoo, lotion.Stayed one night. No complaints.
