Motel 6-Sandston VA - Richmond Va, Sandston

Staff is extremely friendly and enjoyed talking with a few of them. Overall a good place to stay for a night or two. I wouldn't recommend it for a long period of time. A few things were wrong in both of the rooms I booked but I didn't file a complaint because I was only staying for one night. However I do feel that a thorough inspection should be done before they allow someone to enter a room. One room had no hot running water. The other didn't have anything but the sheets on the bed. No blanket. And even with the A/C completely off it was extremely cold on a night where it was 80 degrees outside. The rooms are overall pretty clean and well maintained. It seems like a safe environment and a place where I didn't have to worry about anything crazy happening.

Liked: Very friendly staff and very peaceful.
Disliked: A few things in the room could have been cleaner.

Convenient is the only thing...

Liked: Location across from the airport and a Wawa across the street. I had a late flight arriving after midnight and didn't want to drive over an hour home so I liked the convenience.
Disliked: The impression of a police car sitting in the parking lot was both alarming and reassuring on my arrival. I assume the place is used for illegal activities. The whole place looked seedy, run down and dirty. I wouldn't trust the sheets or even the shower.

It was a terrifying experience.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: There were roaches on the bed and all over the room. I encountered a drunk bloody man on my way to the room. I was disgusted by the room. And worse, I was not able to sleep because I felt in danger.

Liked: Nothing, just a place to lay your head before catching a flight
Disliked: People were loud until 1am, the beds were uncomfortable and the door was poorly secured due to spacing between the door seal. The bathroom was outdated untidy
