Motel 6-San Diego CA - Downtown

Terrible.

Liked: Close to freeway
Disliked: The power went out within an hour of me checking in. Luckily I had showered and was just getting ready to do some work when the power went out. The front desk said it would be out for the rest of the night and wouldn’t give me a refund. I ended up leaving because I wasn’t able to do any work and slept somewhere else.

The only good point is...

Nightmare on Elm Street!

Liked: There was absolutely nothing to like about this establishment!! I promise, this was the worse experience I’ve ever had. Facility was horrendous and the staff was even worse! I’d take this place off of booking.com immediately!! I stayed there one ight out of the three I was supposed to stay and they wouldn’t even attempt to give me a refund!

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The room was cold, smelled like cigarettes and had no available parking! The lights didn't work! This is the opposite of what was advertised and pictured. I want my money back because I had to leave and pay for another hotel!

Good

Basic but suited its purpose...

Liked: The staff were professional and polite. I arrived at 2 am and had no issues checking in. I had to leave early to attend a military commemoration but was allowed to leave my luggage at the hotel to collect later in the day.
Disliked: There was an old musty smell in my room, like mould.

Passable

Liked: You get what you pay for.
