Motel 6-Salinas CA - North Monterey Area

I showed up to signs in the glass doors saying "CASH ONLY". I happened to be staying for 2 nights. Nowhere in my reservation did it say it was going to be cash only. Luckily, I had dropped by the bank earlier and actually had the cash to cover. There was no shampoo or conditioner. There was old toothpaste in the sink, because it WASN'T CLEANED PROPERLY. The bed covers had CIGARETTE BURNS in them. The batteries in the remote were dead, and when we wrote to ask for them to be replaced, it was IGNORED. I asked if there was a hot tub on the premises, and I was snickered at and rudely told "Yeah, a bathtub". A simple no would have sufficed. Never again...

Liked: From check-in to checkout, the service was great. I would like to give a high rating for the manager from Nepal who practically went out of his way to accommodate us. Motel 6 is the best. A+++ rating. Come on. Whenever you are in Salinas or Monterey area, make sure . go to Motel 6 Salinas. Highly recomended. Two queen beds at at great price

Disliked: Everything. The room was dirty and loud. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on.

Disliked: By mistake we ordered 2 rooms with 1 queen bed in each room... We needed one of the rooms to have 2 queens... They gave it to us for an additional charge but with attitude... Really $5.50 more , that couldn't be waived... Nickle and diming
