Liked: The room was large enough for me to be comfortable.
Disliked: Noisy--train when by several times per day and night and shook the building.

Not the best option

Liked: The staff was nice
Disliked: There was at least a 3/4 inch Gap under the door. It let in light and who knows how many bugs or mice. We had a non-smoking room but the curtains and the bed spread had cigarette holes in them. We got only 1 bath towel to share. People were yelling most of the night. The tub was way too small to use as an adult.

Disliked: Location: between train tracks and a busy 4 lane. Noisy. The cleaning product they use was thick in the air, highly unpleasant. Pool was advertised but 'not currently functioning.'

Disliked: It sits between a train and a Main Street. But I kept the fan on all night to drown out the noise. Some minor maintenance issues could be easily fixed.

Liked: The staff was awesome and the beds were clean. In particular, the young man Jacob who checked us in did a fantastic job. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had what we needed. We always count on Motel 6 for being consistent and having carpet free and pet friendly rooms.
Disliked: The room is in extremely rough shape. To the point that I considered leaving. But financially, that would not have been realistic. It's very run down and needs a lot of maintenance. The shower is so old I don't think it can ever feel clean. The floors are damaged and the room felt old and sparse. We were expecting it to be very basic. That is what we planned for at a Motel 6. But this must be one of the oldest ones we have stayed at. Also there is a train track directly behind the motel, so expect noise. By the second day. The lights on the headboard stopped working. So we used tv light and the light from the bathroom to see. The beds are fine, but not great. They are full sized. Not queens.
