Motel 6-Roseville MN - Minneapolis North

I was charged for 11-18-2016 even though I was stranded in a blizzard trying to get there. I couldn't call as I had no cell signal. Arrived early morning on 11-19-2016 and tried to explain my situation and they didn't seem to care. The room was cold, heater didn't work very well. Had asked for extra towels and blankets they never brought. Had trouble with noisy neighbors (security was there) to no resolve. Ended up checking out at 5am. The manager offered nothing and did nothing to resolve the problem. No refund, no discount, nothing. I will never stay there again and will not recomend Motel 6 in Roseville MN to anyone!

Liked: The housekeeping staff was super friendly. The room was very clean. I had a perfect location to the ice machine and to see my vehicle.
Disliked: Down volume on remote control didn't work - not a big deal.

Nice place which will be...

Liked: The place was under major renovation so many parts were closed. The staff was very kind and accommodating od the inconveniences and the price reflected the complications.
Disliked: The pool was closed.

Motel six is an economy/value...

Liked: Motel 6 is definitely an economy motel, therefore my comparison is against other equal value locations. The building was under renovation and believe we received one of the fresher rooms. Upon entry there wss no smell of smoke or animal and smelled of cleaning products. The bed was clean and comfortable, the mini fridge and freezer worked very well and were cold at the time of check in, the towels we're fresh unstained and clean, and the room in general was free of any dirt and debris.
Disliked: The view Outside of the room was not a good one. However, the room was used for sleeping only and not sitting out enjoying eye candy on communal balcony. there was no sort of breakfast whatsoever, including coffee as they were out of cups, which was unfortunate since this was a very busy weekend four of them. the hotel had a pool. However, I don't know when the last time was that it was opened.Nor do I think I would feel comfortable using. i think the biggest downside was that the room only had 2 towels and they refused to provide any more. But when you have 2 people, usually 3 or 4 is ideal. As I know, my girlfriend, and many others, use two

Liked: It's a freaking homeless shelter!! The people were scummy, and I felt unsafe. The printer didn't work, so I couldn't get a receipt. You better refund my ENTIRE stay. We didn't spend one minute in that dump.
