Liked: Overall, my stay at the hotel was pleasant. The price was reasonable, the location convenient, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming — I truly appreciated that. The front desk was helpful and made a good impression.
Disliked: However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience:

Liked: The bed was clean, TV, lights and door all worked well. The window opened which is a rarity and does speak to how old the building is.
Disliked: The staff spoke 0 English which required a lot of fuss to just get checked in. A lot of long term dwellers. Breakfast was sub par. We stayed 2 nights as it was 1 of 2 hotels in town and the better of the 2. Friday night we arrived late to find a gentlemen in his boxers yelling into his phone in the lobby and folks drinking and smoking openly in the parking lot Saturday the room parties began, they did settle around 10, however the empty bottles and debris were noticeable Sunday am when we left.

Disliked: There is no breakfast. Not even a continental breakfast. You can get coffee. The place is run. Down but they are remodeling one room at a time. We got a room that was redone. They need to put up a couple of pieces of trim and touch up paint.they have installed switches for automatic lights on. The sensors are horrible. Any kind of movement makes them come on. Even when you are trying to sleep.
