Motel 6-Palm Desert CA - Palm Springs Area

The room was clean and staff polite. It is not their fault that I experienced an unpleasant night due to a domestic disturbance.

Liked: The room was clean.
Disliked: Was no fault of staff. Had a terrible night due to a disturbance of a female late at night yelling obscenities and pounding on the door next to me arguing with her boyfriend to let her in.

Comfortable and a friendly environment

Liked: I live at home with a lot of family members so once in a while I like to get a room for myself for a night or two this location always has friendly staff at the front desk and don’t ever feel rushed by housekeeping always prefer this location when it is at a reasonable price
Disliked: Some beds can be really squeaky just from the slighting movement

It was fine

Liked: Good price, close to the arena.
Disliked: The floor in the room had several sticky spots on it, there was a thick layer of dust on the a/c unit where the air comes out of, and the room smelled kind of funky.

Motel

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: The pool was so dirty. There was green residue floating inside.

Liked: Front desk service was pleasant and location was good
Disliked: No chairs in lobby as we wait for check-in in the hot sun. First room reeked of nasty smell of smoke and had really small beds. Front side of the building on the opposite side of the lobby, second floor flooring seems uneven on one end. After getting a "better" room: only one trash can by the sink (need one in the bathroom), toilet has no seat cover (things can fall accidentally), no hairdryer, and a little uncleanliness issue.
