Motel 6-Norfolk VA

Checked in before a concert. When I returned, my door card did not work. I went back to the front desk 4 times for it to work. When my room door finally opened there was a strange "spill" in the entrance. Almost like if you struggled at the door someone will approach you from behind and you would lose your footing on the "spill". There were various deals openly happening in the parking lot and there was a huge roach trying to get into my room. I did not stay and left as soon as I was able to get my stuff. I also got charged for an extra night when I didn't even stay at all. The worst experience I've had.

Disliked: Shady activities.

15 minute drive to the venue; very friendly and helpful ladies at the front desk - one even took the time to write out directions for me! Room was just basic; clean; no bells and whistles, which we don't care about anyway. We would definitely stay here again!

Disliked: It looked like there was feces on the wall, the floors were filthy, my bedding was filthy, stained and had cigarette burns all over, bed and pillows were like rocks, bathroom door didn’t shut, front door was weird

Disliked: Asked for a non- smoking room, walked into room smelling like straight weed. Front office people dont know how to talk to customers. 2 out of 6 lights was working in room, no microwaves, fridge wasn't cold at all. Foot traffic all day, all night. Just straight bottom dollar hotel that's advertised otherwise. DO NOT STAY HERE

Dirty and reeked of smoke

Disliked: I reserved a non smoking room and all they had was smoking rooms. They wouldn’t give me a refund. I called booking.com for help and Motel 6 wouldn’t answer their calls or emails. I didn’t stay there and will be disputing the charge. 3 other people were in the lobby asking for a refund at the same time. There was a rat trap in plain view right out the front door

Liked: I had a confirmed reservation. When I arrived to check in, I was told told (even though I had a confirmed reservation) that there were no rooms available. I ENDED UP SLEEPING IN MY CAR!!!!!!!! I was advised by Motel 6 that they didnt get any money from me and that BOOKING COM is who excepted/received the payment. I was unable to reach ANYONE from BOKKING.COM. NEED MY MONEY REFUNDED and NEED to SPEAK with someone IMMEDIATELY.
