Motel 6-Norfolk VA

Checked in before a concert. When I returned, my door card did not work. I went back to the front desk 4 times for it to work. When my room door finally opened there was a strange "spill" in the entrance. Almost like if you struggled at the door someone will approach you from behind and you would lose your footing on the "spill". There were various deals openly happening in the parking lot and there was a huge roach trying to get into my room. I did not stay and left as soon as I was able to get my stuff. I also got charged for an extra night when I didn't even stay at all. The worst experience I've had.

Disliked: Shady activities.

15 minute drive to the venue; very friendly and helpful ladies at the front desk - one even took the time to write out directions for me! Room was just basic; clean; no bells and whistles, which we don't care about anyway. We would definitely stay here again!

Dirty and reeked of smoke

Disliked: I reserved a non smoking room and all they had was smoking rooms. They wouldn’t give me a refund. I called booking.com for help and Motel 6 wouldn’t answer their calls or emails. I didn’t stay there and will be disputing the charge. 3 other people were in the lobby asking for a refund at the same time. There was a rat trap in plain view right out the front door

I DIDNT HAVE A STAY!!!!...

Liked: I had a confirmed reservation. When I arrived to check in, I was told told (even though I had a confirmed reservation) that there were no rooms available. I ENDED UP SLEEPING IN MY CAR!!!!!!!! I was advised by Motel 6 that they didnt get any money from me and that BOOKING COM is who excepted/received the payment. I was unable to reach ANYONE from BOKKING.COM. NEED MY MONEY REFUNDED and NEED to SPEAK with someone IMMEDIATELY.

Disliked: First night I arrived me and the kids were going to bed and my son found big flying roach I complained to the office and they gave me another room when I went to inspect other room I found bed bugs roaches and dirty sheets pillow sheets and bug hole in the box spring mattress it was a dirty nasty flity motel it need shut down

Liked: Nothing at all I called booking for a refund at arrival no help it’s dirty no microwave or mini fridge went to the office for towels and they was rude also a area full of crackheads meanwhile the pool was the cleanest but uncomfortable with males standing around just watching no I will never stay there again
