Motel 6 New London - Niantic

Good value, minor improvements.

Liked: The staff was professional and kind. Check-in was quick and on time. Housekeeping was overall detailed. Extra pillows were able to be found. Located close to grocery store, coffee shops, and the boardwalk.
Disliked: Shower needs minor recaulking. The toilet doesn't have a closed lid. The towels are very small and scratchy. Would be helpful to have a small shelf in the bathroom.Promoted as a quad but has two full-size beds. Good for 4 kids but tight for 4 adults. One bed had burn holes in the top comforter for a non-smoking room, but not a deal breaker. A small mini fridge would've been helpful but again not a deal breaker.

Disliked: Being in our 70's the bathroom is in need of updating. I don't know if they had any handicap rooms availableThere is structural work in progress, indicating updates are in progress.

Disliked: Woke up to loud drilling around 6:30am right outside the room had the room shaking

Disliked: The bed suck door handle was broke. We couldn’t get in no fridge no freezer for my wife’s med. She has cancer. There was no coffee pot like it said there was.

Safe, clean and friendly

Liked: We always stay here because it is safe, clean and staff is great. It is close to places we like to go and the price is reasonable.
