Do not stay here!
Liked: Nothing! The bed spread had stains! The shower was dirty!. I made this Motel my halfway point on many treks from NM to CA coast. It was a mediocre rest spot but not dirty! It has been maybe 8 years since my last stay.
Disliked: Enough said above!

I don't recommend it.
Liked: I didn’t like anything, everything was terrible.
Disliked: The wi-fi they are talking about is missing no connection and the phone on the nightstand doesn’t work, it’s there for show. No electric kettle. No microwave.

Don’t expect the “FREE WIFI”...
Liked: Close to the freeway, relatively quiet, I like that it’s pet-friendly even though we didn’t bring pets. Clean enough for the price we paid. Facilities (other than wifi) were okay.
Disliked: Motel6 in Needles, CA, advertises on the highest sign on its property “FREE WIFI”. It is allegedly included in the price for the room and the booking. I’m travelling with family members who need wifi for work purposes, which was one of the main reasons we chose this motel.Our room was roughly 30 metres from the reception where the wifi was a strong signal, yet in around our room it dropped out completely. The receptionist working Amita was continuously dismissive of this issue, she kept insisting that no one has ever complained about a wifi problem in our specific room, and just said to keep turning our phone wifi on/off and continuing to try. We tried this no less than 30 times, nothing changed. I told her that considering wifi is included in our booking, our price paid, and it’s literally advertised on the motel sign, we should be offered some kind of compensation for its complete absence in our room. Amita bluntly told me that considering I booked through booking.com, we need to take it up with them and there is nothing she can do. This is just incompetent and inadequate service, I have no issue with staying in a 2 star hotel with light staining on the bedding and a blocked bathroom sink, but I do take issue with false advertising and paying for services that aren’t actually included, nor made up for in any kind of compensation, and ultimately dismissed. The wifi worked perfectly when I was close to reception, there is clearly no issue with the server, yet reception refused to investigate the problem, or even just restart the router/modem. Would not recommend choosing this motel to stay in, would only recommend any competent representatives of this motel to seriously follow up on this issue.

Didn't get much sleep. Very...
Disliked: Sink was stopped up. It was a smoking room and smoke detector kept randomly going off. Ac/heater blew more dust than air. Clerk was not helpful at all.

Liked: At least the TV was a flat screen
Disliked: The room looks like it needed to be touched up, the wall was somewhat damaged and looks like it had mold.
