Motel 6-Monterey CA

We will continue to come...

Liked: We ate at Dennys across the street, we were able to simply walk there. CVS right next door and the beach a short simple drive.
Disliked: We always encounter other people that stay at motel 6 that arent as quiet as we are but that's nothing on the motel. We like the North Fremont street motel 6. Our last trip on the 4th of July 2024 some people were obnoxiously loud and I complained and the young lady in the office got right onto them people and got them to be quieter.

Overall worth staying if want...

Liked: Clean room, modern look. Cleaning staff thorough. Being able to bring large shepherd. Location short drive to things. Felt safe.
Disliked: Receptionist spoke rapidly and was quite short in exchanges so didn’t feel like much effort in terms of hospitality even so I was only one in lobby each time.No microwave or fridge in room. Shared microwave was dirty.

Liked: Nothing!
Disliked: I didn’t get to stay there because upon arrival our room was flooded. Water was all overt the floor. They didn’t have an alternate room. This was at 1 am and I had to immediately find another room. Again at 1 am with a child and a senior with me. This hotel was terrible, dirty and the front desk staff was not very helpful. They said we have no other room and you have to go. I drove there for 5 hours and we arrived at 1 am. Very dismissive of the staff. I would never stay there or recommend others to stay either.

Disliked: There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like

Disliked: I didn't like that there was no refrigerator in the room; the microwave was located separately in the room where the washing machines were. It was also very noisy from passing cars since the exit was on the road.

Pleasant

Liked: It was close to the aquarium and night market without being crowded.
Disliked: Navigating one way roads ro get around.
