Staff was helpful in replacing the phone that didn't work and the bedspread that had holes and stains. Despite requesting double occupancy there was only one bed (I guess they assumed we were fine with sleeping together?). The wind howled all night from the large gap under the door. There was no alarm clock, pictures on the walls or carpeting. The TV did not work correctly despite staff's best efforts. Very pleasant staff. Very dismal hotel.
Liked: Staff.
Disliked: TV didn't work correctly. Bedspread needed to be changed out (holes and stains). No carpet. Wide gap under door let wind howl.

Terrible, don't recommend, bad manager...
Disliked: The check-in at the Motel 6 (630 E Broadway Street) was very unsafe. The manager, Pam, was at the front desk and she was abusive outright. 1. Although we had booked for 1 king-sized room, and a 2nd room with 2 queen-beds, both with a kitchenette, initially she gave us two crappy rooms without any kitchenette. When we questioned, she became extremely defensive and verbally abusive towards us, especially to my wife. When my wife asked some legitimate questions about the kitchenette and the rooms, Pam said, "Get this woman out of here!" I am losing my patience." This type of behavior is not acceptable. We even saw her abusing one of her workers.2. Finally, she gave us two rooms with a kitchenette, but she downgraded one of the rooms without any compensation. When we questioned, she said, we should be grateful that our stay had not been cancelled. She blamed us that the credit card on file was expired, however, I want to mention, the first thing we did was to pay the full amount upon our arrival.3. She didn't even allow us any time to transfer our luggage from the wrong rooms, although it was all Pam's (the manager) fault. After the intense abuse and mistreatment, we couldn't sleep well that night. My wife and three kids felt humiliated, harassed and scared.4. In my opinion, people with such behaviour as Pam, should not be the manager and sit at the information desk, so that no customers feel threatened and treated so poorly. Customers pay money with faith, and rely on their bookings. They should not be verbally abused, threatened like that for reservation cancellation at the last minute or assigned to downgraded rooms than what they paid for.

Great for a quick stay...
Liked: Nice set up, didn’t need the kitchen but it felt nice for a Motel. The bed was comfy, and it was very quiet. The floor was bare, no carpet and the room looked and smelled clean! Easy to walk downtown
Disliked: The bathroom was the only room that wasn’t as well updated as the rest of the room. The ceiling was like? School cork board ceiling tiles with water damage. The flooring was strange as well in the room with shower and toilet.
