Motel 6 Mesa South

The place was absolutely horrible. The room had a terrible odor, but we looked the other way considering we’d be out late at a concert and not spend much time inside. The shower was so stained and brown, we had to shower with our sandals on. There were nothing but homeless and drug addicts roaming the property once we got back to the room at 11:30pm. We didn’t get one bit of sleep based on the fact there was a dude high as hell running his truck and “cleaning” it from 2am until sunrise. To top things off, someone tried to open the door multiple times throughout the night/early morning, scaring the living hell out of my wife. When I went to the front desk to let them know someone was literally trying to break in my room, I was met with an attitude that it wasn’t a big deal, and they didn’t have cameras so there’s nothing they could do. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I’ve stayed in some of the worst places imaginable, but this location had the worst of all.

A true bright spot during...

Liked: I stayed at Motel 6 – Mesa, AZ – South for six days during a transitional time in my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience I had here. The front desk team—Destiny, Alex, and Rita—were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, and consistently accommodating, which meant more to me than they probably realize.Let’s be honest—some Motel 6 locations can feel a little sketchy, but not this one. It was clean, quiet, and felt completely safe the entire time. The property is well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful.This place was more than just a place to stay—it was a small refuge during a difficult season. I left feeling cared for and respected, and that’s something I’ll never forget. Highly recommend this location to anyone needing an affordable, safe, and friendly place to stay.

Disliked: I asked him for a refrigerator or they gave us the refrigerator the refrigerator didn't work our food went bad and the air conditioner was not cold
