Requested late checkout but kicked...

Disliked: New manager and staff. Often stay here as we live 40 miles away and i work nearby until two am. Had three hours sleep night before. Requested late checkout on reservation and at checkin as had to drive 200 miles next day. At 1055 had banging on door and a teenager rudely told us we had five minutes to get out. Had to gather belongings and rush out without shower or any organization as we were dead asleep.We also found our truck license plate and holder had been unscrewed and stolen during the wee hours making us wonder what kind of criminals stay there

Pleasant

Liked: The ac our room had ants they moved us to another room that had ants rooms were real humid.
Disliked: The ants the smell of old dog and cigarettes staff was like we are trying never will recommend

I won't be a repeat...

Liked: On a positive note, the staff, especially Misty, were great. They tried to help as much as possible. Also, calling the Customer Service line to confirm reservations was helpful and the staff there were great as well.
Disliked: First, the hotel was unable to find our reservation. Although I confirmed the room and reservation prior to departure, the desk clerk could find nothing. Even at checkout, the reservation had not been found. Second, upon arrival, there seemed to be NO clean rooms. Finally one was found but nothing in it worked and the restroom could have been MUCH better. The cleanliness was questionable, and it had bugs. On our second day, we were moved to another room. It was only "slightly" better.

Liked: There was no breakfast. Or coffee in the room. Room was clean. The girl who was cleaning it was very nice she said she was from North Carolina, she had to also help us with the TV which was a problem all evening. She was the one shining light on a horrible experience
Disliked: I reserved a handicapped room 1-2 weeks in advance. Upon arriving I had to search for a desk attendant, then was told they were overbooked and the room I reserved was not available. Tried booking me into the Motel 6Suites side and wanted payment but I had already paid online so they wouldn’t let me have that room. The only option was to go upstairs and my brother is handicapped stairs are an extreme hardship. Beings there was no other room available in town we had to take the option and my brother only made 1 trip to get upstairs and one down when we checked out which again there was no desk attendant I hollered for someone and finally gave up and tossed my key on the desk and left. I must say this experience has soured me on using Motel 6 again.

Passable

Liked: Comfortable bed. Friendly staff who are trying hard to rehab an older, previously neglected building.
Disliked: Multiple ant bodies and a few live ones in the bathroom and the room. Hair in the shower, not mine.

Disliked: rooms are just not as maintained as was when we started staying here. buildging is needing work. theyve been working on it yet it doesnot appear anything is done.
