Motel 6-Maryland Heights MO

Do not recommend. There were bugs in the bathroom; the sink barely drained; the hotel smelled like dog and our neighbors had dogs that barked all night; check in took forever.

Will never use this place...

Liked: The location served our purpose.
Disliked: The clerk was behind thick glass as though the place got held up regularly. The first experience when walking in the room was the main light switch was out. The shower head was bad. The toilet didn't flush and the room had a strong smell of disinfectant. I stayed at this hotel years ago when it was the Baymont Inn. It was a nice place then but has definitely gone to pot.

As the old saying goes,...

Liked: Then only reason we stayed was because we had a few drinks and we follow through with our itinerary. I slept a few hours and we checked out early. There should have been a notice in the online description to the present conditions of this property. Very poor. Below are the reasons. I apologize for the structural of the sentences but they do not deserve any more than what I have presented.
Disliked: Room #229: The property is not well kept. Upon arrival: I noticed the staff is not properly trained in hospitality. Walking to the room: the smell in the entire building was not pleasant. 3. Our “non smoking room” had burn marks on bath tub, burn holes on the bed comforter and 1 pillow for a 2 person room as well as the smell smoke. 4. The WiFi was free and the TV only had 1 channel because you couldn’t change it with the side buttons or the remote; but the volume worked. 5. The bathroom seemed like it just needed to serve its purpose ; and a roach crawled in front of me while I was having a bowel movement; stomped on it.
