Liked: Served it's purpose to view the eclipse. Was the only option for a very long distance.
Disliked: The room smelled like vomit. This is not a joke, it smelled terrible. We checked the dresser drawers actually expecting to see old vomit. The bed was basically a child's mini trampoline and the pillow was roughly the equivalent of 100 brown paper bags duct taped together and covered with a pillow case. The literal definition of getting what you pay for.

Disliked: The management was dishonest but you do not give me enough room to explain.

The owner was rude, when...

Liked: It was near where we needed to be
Disliked: The owner was rude, when we arrived he informed us that because there was 4 of us in 1 room he was charging us $80 extra for the 4 days we stayed. This was no where on the booking nor was it post anywhere in the building, and Ofcourse we couldn’t cancel because then we’d lose money. After dealing with that Booking Customer Service was ZERO help and all AI responses so we couldn’t get anywhere with them. Once we got to the room we noticed stains on the sheets and an awful smell that was circling through the building. Next door to us was a room that had a dog that barked continuously throughout the nights. We will never be staying at this hotel again, the total ended up being $91 a night and for that price we could’ve stayed somewhere decent if we had known.

Disliked: Bugs, owner tried to cancel our room hours before check-in because the card we used to book a year prior had expired. Only two room towels and they said they were out. Pool out of order. Window doesn't even crack open. AC shuts off and has to be reset often. Hard beds with limited pillows. Missing vent in bathroom wich displayed loads of filth in the ceiling. Hallways smelled like cannabis. Dead AC outlets. Blankets were just thin sheets.

Liked: Upon check in we were charged an extra fee for the dog. Motel 6 campaign nationwide is all about pets which is the ONLY reason we stay at Motel 6 consistently. Walking into the lobby the entire building reeked of curry. An OVERWHELMING smell. Nauseating
Disliked: There was NO breakfast in the lobby as indicated in the morning. Our neighbors were SO loud late into the night and nothing was done about it. The bathroom was horrible. HORRIBLE. Do not book here. Im not even kidding.

Liked: Overall the motel was clean.
Disliked: Front desk was unhelpful and refused to change my method of payment, though I wasn't supposed to be charged until I arrived. Pulled back covers on the bed and there were peanuts in the sheets, so the linens had not been changed.
