Motel 6-Libertyville IL

We had to take the lid off the commode to flush it; the shower was cracked and dirty and we sprayed the mattress with bed bug spray because we were concerned.

Liked: Close to the venue.
Disliked: The room had a 2 inch thick layer of dust on top of most surfaces.

Liked: Staff were friendly; rooms were clean.
Disliked: Carpet in hallways dirty.

Disliked: Poor quality beds.

Liked: It was at a decent location.
Disliked: The staff never went in to change the bedding. There was boxes and cables all over the place. The hotel hallways had a very uncomfortable odor. I reported that the room phone was broken and it did not get fixed or was there an apology for not being able to get it done. The only time they went in to the room. They replaced the towels. I stayed there for 5 days and not once did they replenish the cups or bedding.

Liked: no breakfast was offered. could have been because they were in the middle of remodeling. The two people I meet were very helpful . The room was clean
Disliked: The hair dryer could have been in the room. When I had to use it I had to go to the front desk to get one. No kleenex in the dispenser had to ask for more towels. The microvave kept slidding off of the refrigerator maybe a non slip pad would help it from slidding. It did not fall of onto the floor.

Liked: The location was ideal for what I was in town to do. The staff was nice.
Disliked: The room was not clean. The bathroom was not cleaned adequately. They left a used face towel on the shower rod and there was hair in the tub. The shower head did not work and the water stream decreased the longer I was in the shower. Most of the water came out of the tub faucet because the diverter was broken.The bed spread was dirty and had holes in it. The blanket was dirty and had hair stuck to it.The floor was dirty when I arrived.The hallway smelled heavily of cigarette smoke even though I was in a non-smoking room.

Disliked: Room had blood on the wall and peoples left over trash. The bed sheets are so stiff they are scratching your legs.
