Motel 6-Libertyville IL

We had to take the lid off the commode to flush it; the shower was cracked and dirty and we sprayed the mattress with bed bug spray because we were concerned.

Liked: Close to the venue.
Disliked: The room had a 2 inch thick layer of dust on top of most surfaces.

Liked: Staff were friendly; rooms were clean.
Disliked: Carpet in hallways dirty.

Liked: Average, no-frills hotel to crash in after a concert at the Fuel Room down the street - within walking distance. 10% off Liberty restaurant bill with your motel key.
Disliked: Poor quality beds.

I would not stay here...

Liked: The location was ideal for what I was in town to do. The staff was nice.
Disliked: The room was not clean. The bathroom was not cleaned adequately. They left a used face towel on the shower rod and there was hair in the tub. The shower head did not work and the water stream decreased the longer I was in the shower. Most of the water came out of the tub faucet because the diverter was broken.The bed spread was dirty and had holes in it. The blanket was dirty and had hair stuck to it.The floor was dirty when I arrived.The hallway smelled heavily of cigarette smoke even though I was in a non-smoking room.

Disliked: Room had blood on the wall and peoples left over trash. The bed sheets are so stiff they are scratching your legs.

Liked: location was perfect for our stay and price was excellent. Large refrigerator and handy ice machine.
Disliked: Bottom of the bathtub was heavily discolored. Heavy food smell in the hallway.
