Liked: Sam was very courteous.
Disliked: I requested a room on the 1st floor through Booking.com and Sam said he never got the notification. He did accommodate me but with a handicap room (no amenities such as a lamp or reading lights, and a wonky shower arrangement) right next to the office, so there was a lot of noise. I later learned there were available rooms that would have been much better for me at the back of the property and if I had known I would have insisted on one of those.

Liked: Did not have any breakfast.
Disliked: I had to put two towels at the bottom of the entrance of door, to cover the open space so that the flying insects would not come into the room.

Motel 6 has always felt...
Liked: I like the price and the location. The rooms are always really clean.
Disliked: There is very large gaps in the motel room door that lets in a lot of beaming light in the early a.m. I'm also wondering why the maid comes knocking fairly loud up to an hour before check out time. I am paid up until 11:00 a.m. it should be noted that I am due to check out not going to be needing new linens. It is disruptive. And also the selective $50 cash deposits that is required by the night employee and the murky grin that I should be paying it when he says so. I was left without anywhere to stay one evening because it was demanded of me when I was not prepared as I am using booking.com for my reservation. There is nothing notated stating there will be a $50 cash deposit. I travel with credit cards and I have to use Ubers and Lyft rides. I was left standing in the cold at midnight when my room was reserved. Was treated very poorly by the night employee. This is the second time he has been rude. But this time I wasn't even allowed to check in. I am a woman traveling alone it was cold I was tired. There should be some disclosure regarding the $50 cash deposit on the booking.com website or at least posted somewhere on the check-in window at the location. This shouldn't be something that employees should unexpectedly demand out of nowhere and then very rudely send me away when I had a reservation. I was alone, it was cold and I wasn't able to check in until midnight . So any other room in the area was not available to fit my needs. We now live in a time where technology is everywhere. it should be possible for Motel 6, a very large Motel chain, to accept authorization holds on credit cards as deposits for the room. Not demand cash at midnight from a frequent paying guest with a reservation. I no longer will be staying at that location nor the Menifee California location. Unfortunately I had the same issue.

It was all right.
Liked: There was no breakfast. The front desk clerk informed me at check in no breakfast is available, therefore no breakfast will be served.
Disliked: Not Having breakfast available for guests.
